Seeing your Aura
from Issue #6 January 2004
|
This is a simple exercise that will allow you to see your aura.
Step one: darken the room. It should not be totally dark. You should be able to see objects in the room such as furniture, but little else.
Step two: sit down in a chair and take a few deep breaths. Next, extend your arms straight so they are perpendicular to your body. Open your fingers and turn your hands toward each other. Bring your hands together. Your left fingers and thumb should be interlocked with the fingers and thumb of your right hand.
Step three: look between your fingers to the wall. A dark colored wall gives the best visual effect. Now separate your hands slowly until your fingertips are about a quarter of an inch apart. You should not be looking at your fingers but past them and at the wall.
Between your fingers you should see a smoky haze of light. This is your aura.
