Acrimony thrives on reader contribution. Acrimony is currently looking to publish short essays, investigative stories, personal ads, poetry, pictures, and other artwork. Space in each issue is limited. Acrimony cannot guarantee publication. Additionally, the editorial staff determines which material is appropriate for publication.
Acrimony currently pays the following rates:
$10 for short essays and investigative stories
$5 for poetry
$5 for comic strips, satire, or other artwork
Photography work is gladly accepted, but not compensated for. If you submit a photo and it is published it will include your name, email, and website address or whatever combination of three you choose.
Non-commercial personal ads and photographs are published free of charge.
We know these rates aren't much. But its our small way of saying thanks. There are three steps involved in getting your work published in Acrimony:
1) E-mail your content to editor@acrimony.org or mail it to Lava Marketing, P.O. Box 215, Ontonagon, MI 49953.
2) Include an email or written letter stating that you own all of the rights to the content and grant Acrimony the right to publish the work.
3) Payment for work published is handled through PayPal.com. Include in your correspondence your PayPal account name. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up for free and PayPal will give you $5 just for doing it. Use the graphic below to sign up for Paypal.
