There's a Twisted fire burning
In the deepest parts of heart ,
It speaks a lovely tale
Turning darkness into art
Turning hatred into phantoms
That you chase into the night,
It turns doers into speakers
And fighters into flight.
And no matter how you view it
It is always flaming bright
Pulling at your heart strings
Makes you question wrong and right,
Talks you into things you wonder
Makes you spray paint buildings wall
Tells you everything is all right,
And you'll never hear the call
Of the sane voice that is reason
That fire burns above,
And the angels may call to you
But the fire gives you a shove
And you won't stop yourself from falling
You don't even give a damn,
At your own fate that you sealed
Upon the rocks that became sand
And when the desert finally swallows you
Maybe then you'll stop to think
Maybe then you'll realize your mistake,
And then you'll have your peace.
